After the devastating Typhoon Yagi, the lives of many families in the affected regions have been turned upside down, facing significant property damage and severe impacts on their daily lives. In this challenging time, embodying the spirit of solidarity, on September 17, Dr. Thu Thuy from Hoa Hong Dental Clinic swiftly organized a relief mission to the severely affected areas of Cao Bang and Lao Cai, bringing not just essential supplies but also hope and profound compassion to each family.

With a total fundraising amount of nearly 500 million VND, including 200 million VND from Hoa Hong Dental Clinic and nearly 300 million VND from generous donors, the funds were primarily used to provide direct support to the community, with each individual receiving 1,000,000 VND in cash along with practical gift packages.

Additionally, a truck loaded with 30 tons of high-quality relief goods was ensured to contain no instant noodles or unsafe food products. We provided the community with items such as self-charging flashlights, water purification tablets, and essential supplies to help them maintain proper nutrition during this difficult time.

In the grateful eyes and warm smiles of the community, we felt the warmth of humanity—a soothing stream of kindness healing the wounds left by the typhoon. The unity of volunteers and philanthropists spread love to every corner affected by the storm, helping the residents feel more confident and resilient on the road ahead.

Dr. Thu Thuy shared, “People may think that I am ‘GIVING,’ but from my perspective, I am actually ‘REAPING’ so much more. I receive trust and love from friends who have donated, as well as the opportunity to ‘help’ those affected. Throughout this journey, I have harvested invaluable, intangible gifts: understanding of life, the bonds of human connection, lessons about loss and competition, and encounters with truly wonderful people.”

We will continue to stand by the community, striving to provide support and share in the most necessary circumstances. Each smile we receive is the motivation that drives us to continue carrying out compassionate activities like this in the future.
